You are always practicing Yoga in all ways always throughout your life.
As for the first statement above, perhaps you have already begun to realize now how making time for your Asana Yoga practice even through the pains of daily living will benefit you in so many different ways.
And if not, the next time you find yourself not wanting to practice yoga, instead of not practicing yoga make time for the practice and notice the difference it makes in your life.
If the difference brings greater ease, peace, and fulfillment in your life then bring that realization into your awareness. However, if the difference brings greater discomfort, frustration, and other negative emotions and feelings in your life, then notice that to in your awareness.
As for the second statement, indeed Life is just one huge Yoga sequence in which we move from posture to posture with transitions in between, and sometimes those transitions take us from postures off the mat into postures on the mat.
Your only real job in all of this (if you can even call it a job) is to simply be still and notice this life, this yoga coming in and out of your reality.
